Rehearsals (still)

Six months later and we are still in the studio!! It is the most absurd thing ever- we run the show in full make up and costume in the studio. Can you imagine paying 60 dancers, wardrobe and yes, even stage hands to what put on a show for the mirror?? It's ridic, but it goes hand and hand with the bizarre Chinese experience. I guess the big problem is the revolving ice stage and the new word is with or with out it we are going into the theater at the end of December. Ahh, we'll see.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving in China is a little lackluster. In search for some sort of T-day acknowledgement I ended up at Friday's. No pumpkin pie, no mash potatoes- just the regular menu with one turkey rolled around on a tea cart for the entire restaurant.
Here is my entire Thanksgiving meal on this saucer. I was so hungry when I got home it made me cry. Okay maybe it wasn't just the Turkey, maybe I missed my family too.

Aki's Birthday Party

This is a friend of ours who works at TGIF's. And, yes I'm blonde just for the hell of it.
