Here in Hainan the weather, the scenery, the venue and the company made it a really nice trip.

Taiyuan

Okay Taiyuan wasn't exactly hell but the venue was lame, and the city engulfed in dreary hot haze, yuck.

We did have a nice "VIP" lounge to wait in but my dance partner sang karaoke in between our sets- TWO hours of Chinese love songs! Nice guy, even a good voice, but seriously?
